Requirements

A caring, patient, and flexible individual who believes in the abilities of every student
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Experience working with children or adults with disabilities
A willingness to learn and grow alongside our team
High School Diploma or equivalent
Evidence of mental and emotional maturity and stability
Demonstrate aptitude and/or experience in working with children or youth
Such alternatives to above qualifications as the Board may find acceptable

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs
Assist with academic, communication, behavioral, and self-care goals outlined in student plans
Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
Collaborate closely with teachers and specialists to support student growth
Celebrate every milestone—big and small!
