About The Position

Job Purpose The Educational Technology Academic Coach is responsible for supporting the effective integration of educational technology across assigned schools. This role partners with educators, administrators, and technology staff to enhance instructional practices, improve student outcomes, and ensure the strategic, responsible, and efficient use of technology tools and systems. This position provides coaching, professional development, systems management guidance, and data-informed recommendations aligned with organizational and curricular goals. Duties and Responsibilities Technology Integration · Collaborates with educators to identify and implement opportunities for integrating technology into curriculum and instructional practices. · Supports schools in integrating multiple digital tools and systems to develop efficient and strategically aligned technology ecosystems at the school level. · Works with appointed school-based technology leaders to ensure effective system management and implementation. Professional Development · Designs and delivers professional development sessions to support effective use of educational technology tools and resources. · Provides ongoing coaching and guidance to school-based staff on best practices for technology integration. Resource Evaluation and Management · Evaluates, recommends, and supports implementation of educational technology tools, platforms, and resources aligned with instructional goals. · Assists the academic team in managing and optimizing system settings, including Google Workspace tools, to maximize accessibility, compliance, and operational efficiency. Support and Troubleshooting · Provides ongoing support to educators and students in the use of educational technology tools. · Troubleshoots technical and system issues and coordinates resolution as appropriate. Data Analysis and Reporting · Collects and analyzes data related to technology usage and effectiveness. · Provides recommendations based on findings to support informed decision-making and improved instructional outcomes. Curriculum Alignment · Collaborates with curriculum developers and instructional leaders to ensure technology tools align with curriculum standards and instructional objectives. Technology Policies and Compliance · Develops, communicates, and supports implementation of technology policies, procedures, and best practices. · Promotes safe, responsible, ethical, and compliant use of technology resources, including artificial intelligence tools. Collaboration and Communication · Facilitates collaboration among educators, administrators, and technology personnel to promote consistent and effective technology implementation across the organization. Research and Continuous Improvement · Stays informed regarding emerging trends and best practices in educational technology. · Identifies opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement within instructional technology practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in education, instructional technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting technology integration in instructional settings.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Educational Technology or related field preferred.
  • Experience analyzing data to evaluate instructional or technology effectiveness preferred.
