About The Position

The Education Specialist assists faculty, Department Leadership, and Education Program Leadership. This individual is expected to exercise initiative, exhibit organizational skills, and use problem solving and decision-making skills to perform tasks. The Education Specialist will work in conjunction with faculty to develop educational materials/ courses/programs for the Department or Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science. This role will work within the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and will focus on supporting our PhD students in Arizona and working with our master's program at an Enterprise level. The role drives operational excellence, academic compliance, and student success through high judgment, autonomy, and strong execution. This position is a combination of remote and on-site work; individual must live within driving distance to the Phoenix Mayo Clinic campus. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
