Goalsetter is seeking a hands-on Product Marketing Lead to architect, optimize, and scale our growth engine in a fast-moving start-up environment. This role is ideal for a product‑savvy marketer who thrives in early-stage companies and knows the education space—someone who can translate product value into measurable acquisition, deepen user engagement, and build a predictable pipeline of high‑quality leads. You’ll own positioning, messaging, go‑to‑market execution, and performance optimization. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will build a scalable marketing foundation, lead data-driven growth initiatives, social media approach and align cross-functional teams around strategies that accelerate product sale, adoption and retention. You bring a sharp analytical mindset, strong creative instincts, and a bias for action—balancing rapid experimentation with long-term brand and product equity.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in early-stage (Series A) environments building scalable marketing and growth systems.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or integrated marketing leadership roles.
  • Educational marketing experience.
  • Deep expertise in digital marketing, analytics, lifecycle marketing, and product-led growth strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Creative thinker with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for customer-centric product storytelling.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrated success managing budgets and optimizing spend for performance.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, paid social, and content strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute integrated product marketing programs that drive customer acquisition, onboarding, activation, engagement, and long-term retention.
  • Translate product features into compelling value propositions and user journeys that increase conversion across the funnel.
  • Build a predictable, repeatable lead‑generation engine focused on high‑intent, high‑quality prospects.
  • Partner closely with Product and Sales to ensure marketing initiatives align with the product roadmap, customer needs, and revenue goals.
  • Fill up the top of the funnel with quality leads and own cross-channel acquisition campaigns across paid media, SEO/SEM, email, social, mobile, and in‑product surfaces.
  • Build and optimize lead‑generation workflows, including landing pages, funnels, nurture sequences, and qualification criteria.
  • Implement scalable processes to capture, score, and convert leads from both inbound and outbound channels.
  • Continuously test messaging, creative, and channel mix to improve CAC efficiency and accelerate growth.
  • Use of tools like AWS Quicksite, HubSpot, Blaze and Survey Monkey.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and usability testing to inform product positioning and GTM strategy.
  • Leverage customer feedback, behavioral data, and segmentation to design lifecycle programs that increase activation, engagement, and retention.
  • Develop targeted product promotions and personalized messaging for key customer segments.
  • Cultivate a community of passionate advocates who amplify Goalsetter’s mission and product value.
  • Define, track, and optimize KPIs across the full funnel, including CAC, LTV, activation rate, conversion rate, and churn.
  • Use analytics tools (AWS Quicksight, Google Analytics, platform dashboards, Excel) to generate insights and guide decision-making.
  • Lead A/B and multivariate testing to improve channel performance, product adoption, and user experience.
  • Adjust spend and tactics in real time to maximize ROI and accelerate product-led growth.
  • Oversee content and creative strategy across all digital touchpoints, ensuring clarity of product value and differentiation.
  • Drive content creation for product launches, educational initiatives, and seasonal campaigns that increase awareness and traffic.
  • Maintain a consistent, compelling brand voice and ensure a cohesive experience across marketing and product surfaces.
  • Lead planning cycles and cross-functional alignment sessions to ensure marketing execution supports company-wide priorities.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to Product and Sales to support GTM plans, product updates, and customer insights.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, data-driven decision-making, quality results and continuous improvement.
