About The Position

Become part of a dynamic team working with High School students and adults ages 14 and older using a work-based training curriculum. You will facilitate a prescribed program that includes assessments, classroom instruction, development of employment plans, assessing their interests in employment and education, placement in jobs and internships, and on-site job training and support. You will develop relationships between clients and community employers, providing access to an array of employment, job training, and educational opportunities. Responsible for the coordination of internship opportunities, including working evaluation sites, marketing, job development, internship procurement. Additional responsibilities include vocational guidance, job development, job placement, onsite/remote training, employer education, and customer relations.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Human Service Related field preferred, OR High School Diploma with 2 years of experience providing direct Education or Employment Services to Students with disabilities required.
  • Technology-Savvy Required: Ability to effectively navigate and utilize online systems for quality assurance and compliance tasks.
  • Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet navigation.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required; must have access to a reliable vehicle and be willing to transport participants in a personal vehicle.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout the region to access residential settings, workplaces, offices, and community organizations.

  • First Aid/CPR Certification Preferred: Candidates without current certification must be willing to obtain it upon hire (training provided).
