The applicant should inform the Education and Training Flight Chief of anticipated absence from a scheduled unit at least 24 hours prior to scheduled absence except in emergency situations. The applicant should refer students to search options in finding appropriate academic/training institution or program for furthering their education/training goals. The applicant should act as point of contact for outreach for SkillBridge and other education programs, maintain education records. Conduct follow-up activities (phone calls, mail-outs, emails) to ensure program objectives are being met. The applicant should be responsible for preparing all necessary correspondence and forms and maintaining related records and logs required to support all aspects of job tasks.
