eDrive Mechanical Engineering Intern

The eDrive Mechanical Intern will work with the North American product release team, focused on the design and release of EV propulsion systems.
Requirements
- Fluent in Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Mechanically inclined, familiar with vehicle driveline architecture
- Ability to apply academic learnings on job
- 2D/3D CAD experience
- Experience interpreting 2D Drawings
Responsibilities
- Supporting eDrive (electric motor + gearbox) engineers with daily tasks
- Supporting component teardowns and part evaluations
- Submitting and tracking lab work requests
- Submitting and tracking CAD work requests
- Gather test samples and providing to the required lab areas
- Working with build room technicians to support prototype builds
- Writing and submitting engineering test reports
- Supporting competitor product bench marking activities
- Updating and debugging engineering template/tools
