About The Position

TempToFT 2 nd Shift EDM Operator Rate: Open Hours: 3:30pm-12am Mason, OH C-D Responsibilities: - Selects, aligns, and secures fixtures, wire, and workpieces on machines as necessary to machine parts as required. - Load and edit CNC programs as required. - Utilizes knowledge of rotary/linear axes and uses G and M codes. - Programming/operating/maintaining Wire EDM utilizing knowledge of working properties and processes for a variety of materials. - Develop and implement process recommendations to improve efficiency and optimize programs and processes, resulting in defect-free parts. - Verifies the conformance of finished workpieces to customer specifications, utilizing precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary. - Document actions by updating control charts, travelers, and ERP labor reporting. - Clean the work tank, table, and wire path pulleys on a daily basis. - Analyze and interpret op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications. - Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. - Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment. - Maintains a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties. - Reliable attendance within acceptable standards of the attendance policy. - Lift, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds regularly. - Operate overhead crane or other lifting equipment when necessary. - Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift. - Walking or climbing stairs as needed to perform job duties as assigned. - Routinely perform reaching, twisting, bending, lifting, and grasping. - Frequently use gross and fine motor skills to manage various parts, tools, and tooling. Requirements
