Machine Operator - Lasers and EDM
About The Position

Competitive Pay: $21.00 - $24.00/hour Stable Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Growth Opportunities: Gain experience with diverse manufacturing processes, including EDM, visions systems, and CNC equipment.
Requirements
- Experience: Having worked in a factory setting previously.
- Skills: Experience in using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Mindset: High attention to detail, safety conscious, and pride in quality workmanship.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T) and ability to read technical specifications.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance, a stable work history, and the ability to adapt to new methods.
Nice To Haves
- Preferred experience with CO2 laser cutting or water jet equipment, and familiarity with CNC mills/lathes preferred.
- Experience with setup and adjustments is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections
- Load and unload materials (up to 50 lbs) with meticulous attention to detail
- Operate laser cutting and additional manufacturing machinery (EDM, manual mill, drill press, etc.)
- Work closely with your Supervisor to troubleshoot, optimize processes, and ensure a smooth workflow
- Count, stack, label, and color-code parts, maintain a clean work area, and follow 5S safety practices
