About The Position

The Editorial Manager on the Apple Fitness+ team will lead a small team of producers and programmers, managing all editorial planning and execution for Fitness+ projects. This role involves coordinating tasks across various teams to ensure timely and successful project completion, while also overseeing the management of Fitness+ content across multiple platforms. The manager will collaborate closely with engineering to enhance internal content management systems and tools, ensuring the team's efficiency and success.

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in cross-functional editorial production.
• 8+ years experience in online media and content programming.
• Experience developing and evolving digital tools and processes.
• Successful track record of coordinating high-profile projects within short timeframes.
• Experience working with digital technology and tools for web-based production.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of producers and programmers for Fitness+ projects.
• Coordinate tasks across design, editorial, localization, business, marketing, and studio production teams.
• Manage the Fitness+ content in the Fitness app for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV.
• Ensure timely presentation of all assets, metadata, and deliverables to customers.
• Partner with engineering to develop and improve internal content management systems and tools.
