UnitedHealthcare’s Medical Policy team seeks an Editorial Assistant to support Clinical Documentation Standardization and publication process. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that medical policy documents driving standardization and transparency move efficiently through editorial workflows. The role includes maintaining content accuracy and formatting standards, in compliance with medical publications standards, and supporting large-scale clinical documentation standardization efforts across multiple clinical, enterprise and operational stakeholders. The role is critical to the success of UHC in AHIP initiatives and commitments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working within complex workflows. This position is full time (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm local time. We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment (outside of onboarding training).
