Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas is looking to add to our IT - EDI team and has a new opportunity for an EDI Support Specialist. This position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external customers needing support with electronic data interchange. This employee assists Trading Partners, payers, providers, software vendors, and clearinghouses with diagnosing and resolving issues involving electronic data files, batch and real‑time transactions, and online submission tools. The role includes supporting software and applications provided by ASK/BCBSKS, including installation, setup, ongoing troubleshooting, and maintenance. Responsibilities also include coordinating electronic testing, explaining file formats and implementation guides, identifying connectivity issues, working with EDI System Support and eBusiness teams, and ensuring accurate documentation and professional follow‑up. The employee maintains high accuracy standards for Trading Partner records while supporting department processes, internal testing, and customer education. “This position is eligible to work hybrid or onsite in accordance with our Telecommuting Policy.
