Improving Health, Improving Lives. Applicants who live within 35 miles of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare EDI or project management, with a focus on single and small practices or EMRs.
  • In-depth knowledge of healthcare EDI workflows and protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proven ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with diverse functional groups.

Nice To Haves

  • Ideal candidates will be located near Raritan, NJ and able to participate in occasional onsite team meetings and events on short notice.
  • Current or previous Labcorp experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide troubleshooting and assistance to clients and vendors, focusing on single and small practices or EMRs.
  • Interpret and analyze HL7 order and result messages to develop recommendations and solutions.
  • Manage and drive multiple projects to completion across all phases within corporate-specified deadlines.
  • Communicate with clients and vendors via phone and email.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients to ensure their support and continued business.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and follow-up to clients and vendors.
  • Collaborate with various functional groups, including sales, lab operations, and third-party vendors, to resolve client issues promptly.
  • Analyze client ordering patterns to identify issues early and enhance electronic ordering and resulting processes.
