About The Position

The role of the EDI Analyst is to work with trading partners to ensure timely and accurate posting of all responses to claim submission, eligibility request, claim status request and remits, while continuously improving the department processes and procedures to ensure the highest value possible for our customers. Function as EDI expert assisting and training other EDI Production team members.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent analytic and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of Windows-based computer environment, including MS Office and related programs
  • Active ownership and responsibility regarding duties and task (sense of urgency)
  • Ability to work unsupervised in a corporate environment
  • Experience with healthcare claims transactions
  • Technical support experience
  • EDI X12 healthcare transactions experience
  • Excel

Responsibilities

  • Ensure 835 transactions are received from trading partner’s FTP/website once available.
  • Ensure payers are accurately identified from inbound 835 transactions
  • Ensure that 835s transactions are syntactically correct
  • Review trading partner emails to ensure issues/changes are communicated and addressed
  • Contribute to the continuing enrichment of Route/Payer Account contacts in Salesforce
  • Assist team members with production issues
  • Research missing/delayed 835 delivery across multiple platforms
  • Work with EOB Conversion vendor to troubleshoot file issues
  • Research claim and file delivery issues in multiple legacy platforms
  • Research and address internal requests for assistance received in the ‘EDI Batch Queue’ and ‘EDI Practice Insight Queue’
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership within the area of responsibility and control
