EDI Manager
About The Position
The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of EDI systems and processes that support seamless data exchange between the organization and its trading partners. This role ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and security of electronic transactions, while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to optimize supply chain and business operations. POSITION LOCATION: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield, IL. Effective fall 2025, Fortune Brands will transition to a new world-class campus in Deerfield, bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices, brands, and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration, along with amenities for dining, onsite daycare, fitness and recreation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development, configuration, and support of EDI systems and integrations with ERP, WMS, and other enterprise platforms.
- Manage relationships with trading partners, vendors, and third-party EDI providers to ensure timely and accurate data exchange.
- Monitor EDI transaction flows, troubleshoot errors, and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with IT, operations, finance, and customer service teams to align EDI processes with business needs.
- Define and enforce EDI standards, documentation, and best practices across the organization.
- Oversee onboarding of new trading partners and manage EDI mapping and testing processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and data security protocols.
- Provide training and support to internal users on EDI-related tools and workflows.
- Analyze EDI performance metrics and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability.
