We’re seeking an EDI Enrollment Specialist to join us. This is a remote position. The EDI Enrollment Specialist is responsible for client enrollment through various vendors and clearinghouses to set up electronic remittance advice (ERA) and electronic funds transfer (EFT). This position will work EDI Claims paperwork, ERA paperwork, EFT paperwork and carrier cross referencing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of AR or payment processing experience in a medical environment, required
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with insurance carriers, project team members, and management
  • Ability to multi talk and be a self-starter
  • Demonstrated success managing multi priorities in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
  • Ability to learn a proprietary medical management software
  • Ability to stay on task with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for client enrollment through various insurance companies, vendors and clearinghouses to set up electronic remittance advice (ERA) and electronic funds transfer (EFT)
  • Phone, email and fax contact to the EDI enrollment support staff at various companies mentioned above
  • Administrative support for internal staff to set up, change and provide updates on enrollments
  • Excellent note taking and follow up ability; accurately and efficiently track enrollments as requested over long periods of time
  • Must be able to handle a high volume, fast paced work environment
  • Perform other special projects as assigned
