About The Position

The EDI Customer Analyst is responsible for managing customer orders received via the Electronic Data Interface (EDI) while also fulfilling all of the duties of the Customer Operations Associate (COA) and acting as a single point-of-contact for distributors. They will verify the accuracy of order transmissions, communicate any variances to the appropriate parties, and lead order management discrepancy and claims resolution. The role requires working with new customers where applicable and maintaining positive relationships while providing superior customer service to all accounts. The incumbent will work closely with operations, NADESS, logistics and S&OP to actively support order fulfillment and reporting.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain, Finance, Business Analytics or related field or experience required.
  • 3-5 years of previous analytical, supply chain or customer service experience.
  • Strong and demonstrable customer service mindset.
  • Proven ability to deliver high quality results to a strict timetable within a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem solving, decisions making, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and MS Excel.
  • A successful individual will need to demonstrate strong verbal, written, and time management skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Alcohol Beverage Industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience in JD Edwards E1, Power BI, Hubble is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily EDI transmissions on customer orders. Analyze, verify, and cleanse EDI data to ensure accurate processing of EDI order information. Monitor all transmissions, logging for future retrieval and analysis.
  • Identify, implement, and maintain EDI processing initiatives. Test new customers and resolve EDI issues with various departments as well as IT.
  • Provide regular reports to Senior Management of EDI and Customer Operations Department KPI's.
  • Handle special projects and ad hoc assignments as directed by the Sr. Director, Customer Operations or Customer Operations Team Lead.
  • Process customer orders within lead times, ensuring that requested product meets order criteria and verifying exceptions or non-compliance issues.
  • Use strong decision-making and critical thinking skills to autonomously process claims and execute credits and debits for shipment discrepancies and pricing issues.
  • Establish returns, assist customers with faulty stock, cancelled orders, and incorrect shipments. Process credits for unsaleable merchandise, miscellaneous adjustments, and transfer of inventory between distributors.
  • Provide timely updates to the customer database, ensuring accurate contact and order history information.
