EDGEBAND OPERATOR DAY SHIFT
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Edgeband Operator to join our high-performing Machining Department. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on experience who are eager to expand their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work with raw cabinet components and edge banding materials to produce high-quality cabinetry components with seamless, professional edges that exceed expectations. Requirements
- Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
- Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, computer interfaces and small barcodes.
- A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Prior edge banding or CNC machining experience, ideally in cabinetry, wood products, or custom furniture, is a plus. However, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We're committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Apply edge banding to cut cabinet components for a polished, professional finish.
- Clean and maintain your machine and work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
- Verify barcodes and quality of each piece before moving jobs to the next production stage.
- Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
