About The Position

Jones Family & Cosmetic Dentistry is excited to welcome a team‑focused Expanded Duties Dental Assistant to join our busy, patient‑centered office!

As our EDDA, you’ll play a key role in creating a smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable experience for every patient who walks through our doors. You’ll use your expanded skills to provide exceptional clinical support, collaborate with a fun and hardworking team, and help us deliver dentistry that patients genuinely love.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience (preferred & required)
• High School Diploma or GED
• X‑Ray Certificate (as applicable)
• Coronal Polishing Certificate (as applicable)
• Expanded Duties Dental Assistant Certificate (as applicable)
• CPR Certificate (as applicable)
• Friendly, motivated, and team-oriented
• Detail‑driven with a passion for excellent patient care
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced yet supportive environment
• A problem-solver who brings a positive attitude every day
• A true team player with strong communication skills
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, and comfortable in a busy environment

Responsibilities

• Assisting the doctor with high-quality clinical procedures
• Placing fillings, taking impressions, and performing expanded duties
• Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring a clean, safe environment
• Educating patients and supporting their treatment journey
• Bringing organization, positivity, and care to every interaction
• Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
• Taking and developing dental X-rays (per state regulations)
