About The Position

The Education Sales Executive will be responsible for the promotion of Rauland Education products in the assigned territory of Lone Star Communications. The Education Sales Executive will devote full time and energy and to the best of their ability develop a deep customer base.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 3 years office related experience, or
  • Associate degree from an accredited college with 2 years working experience, or on the job training may substitute as equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years sales and/or customer service experience
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient Knowledge in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Professional appearance
  • Ability to travel on a regular basis.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and the public.
  • Ability to speak well on the phone.
  • Ability to research multiple mediums for new products and technologies; thorough product knowledge; comprehensive understanding of NFPA 72 and 101 Code, Arkansas Fire Code, NEC 90; working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and 360.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and invoices.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
  • Integrity, outstanding communication and people skills, technological aptitude, orientation to details and organization, quick learner, team player, and “service provider” mentality.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Education/IT/Healthcare industry a plus
  • Applicant should have a background in selling to K-12 Schools.

Responsibilities

  • Secure project contracts in line with sales and profit obligations
  • Maintain a liaison relationship with owner/customer/user throughout the installation period and to assure maximum coordination.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant personnel and decision makers at school districts in your market.
  • Collect and prepare site information, pics, to Engineering team for the development of a sales quote.
  • Prepare weekly sales and bid reports.
  • Acquire and maintain thorough knowledge of all relevant equipment and systems.
  • Maintain the ability to perform demonstrations of all products within the Education Sales Executive’s market.
  • Assist in the collection of money owed as a result of Education Sales Executive’s sales.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned.
  • Assist in Sales and Marketing initiative as required.
