About The Position

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences is seeking candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas to teach introductory and intermediate Economics courses for the Fall 2025 semester.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics from an accredited college, university or a foreign equivalency.
  • Master's degree in one of the following disciplines and 18 graduate-level credits in Political Science or Government from an accredited college or university or a foreign equivalency: Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Environmental/Natural Resource Economics, Finance/Financial Economics, Law and Economics
  • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Product suite.

Nice To Haves

  • College teaching experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish. English and other languages will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present lectures.
  • Meet with students as needed to answer questions.
  • Respond to student queries (e.g. email or voice mail) as needed, in a reasonably timely manner.
  • Write, administer, and grade all student assignments and exams.
  • Compute grades and submit them on time.
