The Economic Research team at the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) values consistency, teamwork, and creativity. This team provides valuable data, research, and analysis across MAC departments to support MAC’s strategic plan. They invest in and nurture strong relationships with fellow researchers in the region and engage with partner organizations as a reliable resource. The team delivers high-quality, up-to-date, and trustworthy content by synthesizing data from private and public databases and conducting primary research for MAC publications. They provide information and resources necessary for companies evaluating metro Atlanta for business investment, driven by a commitment to improving the region. The Economic Research Associate reports to MAC’s Chief Economist and works with a Research Manager and a research intern. The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) serves as a catalyst for a more prosperous and vibrant metro Atlanta, focusing on starting, growing, and recruiting companies to its 29-county region. MAC also aims to grow the innovation economy by strengthening connections to drive Atlanta’s innovation and entrepreneurial culture. MAC is committed to being an active voice for the business community, advocating for a competitive business climate, advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion as economic imperatives, and telling Atlanta’s story.
