About The Position

We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor to lead and optimize daily shipping and order fulfillment operations. This role oversees a team responsible for accurately picking, packing, and preparing merchandise for shipment while maintaining high standards for accuracy, speed, and package integrity. The Supervisor plays a hands‑on leadership role, ensuring daily production goals are met or exceeded while fostering a positive, accountable, and safety‑focused work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory or management experience required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to prepare basic written communication
  • Strong math skills, including calculations involving ratios, percentages, and basic data interpretation
  • Basic computer proficiency, including spreadsheets and word processing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Lift up to 100 pounds and frequently lift or carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle materials and operate equipment

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, train, and develop fulfillment associates, ensuring adherence to departmental procedures and continuous skill building
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and performance‑driven team culture
  • Conduct probationary and annual performance evaluations to support accountability and growth
  • Support recruiting and hiring initiatives in partnership with the Senior Manager and Director of eCommerce
  • Oversee daily shipping and fulfillment activities to ensure accurate picking, packing, and order preparation
  • Ensure proper creation and verification of invoices, shipping labels, and related documentation
  • Maintain inventory control of all shipping supplies and materials to support uninterrupted operations
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer service inquiries related to fulfillment issues
  • Manage opening and closing procedures in the absence of team leaders to ensure continuity of operations
  • Operate company vehicles as needed to support merchandise pickup and ensure proper scheduling and completion of vehicle maintenance
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑conscious work environment
  • Support additional operational initiatives and special projects as assigned
