About The Position

In this key position, you will be instrumental in the success of melin's Ecommerce business by overseeing all aspects of Merchandising and site experience. Your responsibilities include optimizing site merchandising through data analysis, ensuring timely and accurate product launches, improving AEO/GEO/SEO and product visibility, and enhancing the overall shopping experience. Additionally, you will stay updated with industry trends, research new market opportunities, and collaborate with various teams to align the website's visual presentation with brand guidelines and create compelling content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Ecommerce.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Thrive in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Ability to implement and learn new systems and process with urgency.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data analysis tools.
  • Goal-oriented, with high standards of honesty, ethics, and personal accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Review sales and inventory data daily to optimize site merchandising based on sales and inventory trends, GTM launches, marketing communications, and product-related sales goals.
  • Ensure products are launched correctly and on time, with the appropriate information, scheduling, and categorization.
  • Ensure timely launch of GTM and product-related assets across online channels. Review and test assets and user experience cross-device and browser.
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to improve rankings and visibility.
  • Research new market opportunities and ways to expand product offerings.
  • Partner with the Product team on web exclusives and ensure they are thoughtfully managed.
  • Develop and implement strategies for AEO/GEO/SEO optimization to improve results across channels
  • Collaborate with the UX/UI teams to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Ensure that the navigation and search functions are user-friendly.
  • Ensure that the website's visual presentation aligns with brand guidelines.
  • Work with Marketing/Creative to create content to increase demand where needed.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in Ecommerce.
  • Lead A/B testing across on-site merchandising, leveraging data to optimize key KPIs.
  • Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales. Be the first line of communication for how products are performing.
