Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians. Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing echocardiogram.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an approved ARDMS school.
- Certifications: Echocardiographic Technician Certification, CPR.
- Special Skills: Ability to recognize cardiac diseases during imaging with proficiency in cardiac measurements.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience: Experience as an Echocardiographic Technician under the supervision of a Certified Technician and a Cardiologist.
- Certifications: RDCS
Responsibilities
- Technician providing ECHO cardiograms.
- Schedules, prepares, administers and reports interpretations of Echocardiograms,
- M-mode, 2-dimensional
- Doppler, color flow mapping
- Transesophageal imaging
- Stress ECHO and assists Cardiologist
