Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Appropriate credential(s) specific to echocardiography sonography.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in teaching methodology, supervision, instruction, evaluation, and student guidance.
  • At least three years of full-time professional experience as an Echocardiography Sonographer.
  • Strong dedication to student success and professional development.
  • Exceptional classroom management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to cultivate a positive, ethical, and dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver competency-based education aligned with CHCP curricula and instructional methodologies.
  • Develop and implement instructional plans, activities, and lessons that meet course objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Establish performance benchmarks and provide timely, constructive feedback to foster student achievement.
  • Create an engaging, learning-centered environment that promotes student involvement and academic success.
  • Provide individualized support to students requiring additional assistance and encourage active participation.
  • Maintain accurate academic records, including attendance tracking and grade submissions, while enforcing institutional policies.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, departmental initiatives, and campus-wide service projects.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and serve as a resource for program content enhancement.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements and integrate real-world experiences into instructional delivery.
  • Collaborate with Program Advisory Committees to ensure alignment with current healthcare standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the program and institutional mission.
