About The Position

Experienced Echocardiographer working under general oversight of a board
certified Pediatric Echocardiographer.
Under supervision of a physician and with oversight, direction and monitoring by
a Pediatric Echocardiographer, performs Echocardiograms on Pediatric patients.
Performs routine, and emergent complex congenital echocardiograms as requested
by physician and in accordance with standard practices.
Procedures include transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms for the
neonatal, pediatric, and adult congenital populations.
Operates equipment necessary to perform all required procedures and to obtain
optimal diagnostic recordings; utilize ancillary devices such as selected
transducers, audio- and video- recorders, and computer systems. Maintains
equipment in working order.
All responsibilities are performed under the general supervision of a Pediatric
Echocardiographer.
