About The Position

Echocardiogram Sonographer — Cardiac Ultrasound Use your cardiac ultrasound skills to spot what the eye can’t see. As an Echocardiogram Sonographer at NARMC, you’ll perform high-quality echo studies, calculate and document measurements, and collaborate closely with cardiologists to inform timely decisions. Job Summary Perform and monitor echocardiogram procedures, acquire 2-D/3-D images and Doppler tracings, calculate and document values, and communicate clinical changes during the exam to the care team.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in an allied health field
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

On-the-job or formal echo training
RDCS/RCS credential encouraged.

Responsibilities

Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment; obtain diagnostic images and Doppler data; ensure proper patient identification and documentation.
Calculate and record measurements for physician interpretation; maintain exam quality and safety.
Communicate changes in patient condition during testing; support efficient workflow with physicians and imaging leadership.
