About The Position

Echocardiogram Sonographer — Cardiac Ultrasound Use your cardiac ultrasound skills to spot what the eye can’t see. As an Echocardiogram Sonographer at NARMC, you’ll perform high-quality echo studies, calculate and document measurements, and collaborate closely with cardiologists to inform timely decisions. Job Summary Perform and monitor echocardiogram procedures, acquire 2-D/3-D images and Doppler tracings, calculate and document values, and communicate clinical changes during the exam to the care team.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in an allied health field
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • On-the-job or formal echo training
  • RDCS/RCS credential encouraged.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cardiac ultrasound equipment; obtain diagnostic images and Doppler data; ensure proper patient identification and documentation.
  • Calculate and record measurements for physician interpretation; maintain exam quality and safety.
  • Communicate changes in patient condition during testing; support efficient workflow with physicians and imaging leadership.
