The purpose of this position is to provide Echo and Vascular lab examinations to patients of all ages

Requirements

Education: Associate degree and graduate of accredited CAAHEP or diagnostic medical sonography school, or at least 6 months of documented competency/clinical experience.
Experience: 1 year of job-related experience in clinical setting.
Licensure/Certification: Registered with the ARDMS, RVT
Certified in the modalities in which employee works
American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Experience: 2 years of job-related experience in clinical setting.
Licensure/Certification: ICVALARDMS RVT certification is required within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

Performs and monitors echocardiogram (cardiac ultrasound) procedures.
Calculates, measures, and documents appropriate values on the tests performed for review and interpretation by physicians.
Communicates with physicians, managers, and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinical conditions while undergoing
Under the guidance of the manager of the vascular laboratory, assists in the coordination of all activities performed in the laboratory, including performing vascular imaging studies.
Assess the patient's condition, prepares examination room, maintains equipment and supplies.
Performs related duties as required.
