About ECE Events The Texas ECE Events office produces all Department Chair events including Welcome Week, Symposiums/Conferences, Alumni Events, Retirement Celebrations, Awards Ceremonies, etc. Smaller scale events include catering for meetings, room setups, and working with other offices to assist with their events. Position Purpose Working closely with the Texas ECE Sr. Events Coordinator, the successful candidate will conduct various skill-building tasks with variety and responsibility. The position is suited for someone who likes planning, problem-solving, writing, as well as to working independently and as a team, multi-task, create and document work processes, and stay organized. This position will require customer service skills and event coordination interest. Hours per week: 15 - 20 hours Job Start Date: January 12, 2026 Desired Class Level(s): Current Sophomore or Junior Level preferred
