This internship will seek to automate the creation of the ECAD model library.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
- Basic knowledge of PCB Design
- Experience with a scripting language like Python or Perl
- English Proficiency
- Strong cross-functional collaboration, organization, and communication skills.
- Excellent attitude and initiative to propose solutions to problems that don’t have a resolution yet.
- Ability to multitask
Nice To Haves
- Cadence Allegro or similar PCB design software
- SKILL programming experience a plus
- AI understanding and how it can be applied to PCB design
Responsibilities
- Map industry CAD models to Teradyne standards to boost overall team efficiency
- Automate the addition of Teradyne DFX requirements by utilizing scripting tools and industry-leading design automation software
- Auto-generate CAE models to reduce manual errors and ensure high quality outputs
