About The Position

Reporting to the Receiving & Processing Manager and Receiving & Processing Assistant Manager, the eBay and Case Specialist helps fulfill our mission and vision by providing outstanding customer service to our customers, donors, volunteers, and all staff members. This position pays 18.50 per hour. Our eBay and Case Specialist is someone who loves people and is a highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable being part of a team. The ideal candidate can multi-task and prioritize projects while providing excellent service to our customers.

Requirements

  • Work well with a diverse group of staff, customers, and volunteers
  • Work efficiently in a team and individually
  • Self-starter and solution-focused
  • Prior knowledge of valuing home goods, toys, electronics, antiques, and memorabilia
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze customer flow and buying patterns to determine where merchandise should be sold
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proficient with eBay (create engaging posts, seller’s hub, and eBay policies)
  • Proficient with Microsoft and Gmail
  • Ability to research and verify merchandise
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more with assistance

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for every employee, volunteer, and customer that reflects the grace and truth of Jesus.
  • Ensure the eBay room is clean and safe.
  • Ensure the case is clean, stocked, and merchandised.
  • Meet sales goals.
