About The Position

This position is designed to increase the success of the Back-Of-House Operations, Office Administrators (OA), and leadership (GM & CL) at the store level. This individual will be primarily responsible for managing inventory and providing frontline support to restaurants in an Analyst type role; managing Ingredients, Recipes and Products within the Eatec database; act as a point of contact for GM’s/KM’s & OA regarding questions as they pertain to Inventory, Purchasing, and weekly performance. Pertaining to the OA group, communicate any necessary extended support information to the AC group for follow-up. This individual is primarily responsible for the following concepts: Concept A Concept B Concept C Concept X Concept Y Concept Z

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preference for Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Education, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel); advanced Excel skills required.
  • Working knowledge of the Eatec application at the store/operational level.
  • Experience working with and maintaining databases.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and editing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person, in writing, and verbally in large group settings (e.g., rollouts and Teams meetings).
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with restaurant staff and management.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience writing SQL queries preferred but not required.
  • Experience with SAP Crystal Reports preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Concept Cost Analysis
  • Review concept/restaurant cost numbers; follow-up as needed.
  • Review Inventory Activity and Financial Cost Analysis reports & Domo tools for stores in each concept.
  • Troubleshoot where necessary.
  • Individual Location Analysis
  • Review concept/restaurant inventory numbers; follow-up as needed.
  • Review of the initial Concept Cost Analysis Report and Domo card deck.
  • Follow up with GM/OA regarding inventory issues & questions.
  • Concept Cost Management
  • Expert in concept cost; fulfill Eatec cost requests; maintain database integrity.
  • Review cost mistakes as presented by Eatec Admin (PUR19.rpt + research) and from the Eatec Alerts distribution and additional review tools. Follow up as needed.
  • Review final Concept Cost Analysis Report. Identify trends by store and address any changes.
  • Partner with test & focus locations for specific needs.
  • Depletion Analysis
  • Review concept/restaurant usage numbers and the relationship between actual & theoretical; follow-up as needed.
  • Concept Inventory Item Management
  • Manage concept inventory items; maintain database integrity.
  • Eatec Item Management
  • Audit item names to ensure consistency for concept.
  • Ensure concept has bids for relevant items; relay needs to Purchasing Dept.
  • Ensure items are available and are in correct Eatec packages.
  • Concept Recipe Management
  • Manage concept recipes; maintain database integrity.
  • Eatec Recipe Management
  • Audit RV edits
  • Add new recipes as needed
  • Audit recipe fields to ensure consistent/accurate information for each concept
  • Eatec Product Management
  • Add new products as needed
  • Maintain products type as needed
  • Audit product fields to ensure consistent/accurate for concept
  • Communicate new product numbers for Menu Management for entry into POS system(s).
  • Initiative Rollouts
  • Participate in phase rollouts for each concept as necessary.
  • Concept Menu Rollout
  • Work with Menu Marketing, R&D Chefs, Ops Team(s) as needed.
  • Update Eatec with menu rollout items, complete Eatec processes to make items available to end users.
  • Create and add any new necessary items to datasets and packages.
  • Audit any items that are already created against RV; obtain updated yields as necessary.
  • Communicate all necessary roll-out information to Ref Con and Menu Management groups.
  • Strategize with Ref Con Group and Field Trainers on Documentation for restaurants.
  • Concept Training
  • Follow-up on concept training where needed.
  • Review Weekly Manager Updates & Weekly Manager Topic.
  • Handle restaurant/departmental calls.
  • Maintain concept list of trained Eatec Managers by leveraging Discover Link reporting.
  • Identify concept training opportunities.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Provide ad hoc data per department requests.
  • At Period End, partner with Financial Planning team to review anomalies between Eatec and store GL(s).
  • Report Management & Creation
  • Maintain Eatec report integrity.
  • Update & audit reports used by both the restaurant and corporate level.
  • Create & manage reports as needed to deliver greater operational efficiency or better data presentation.
