Eastside Executive Pastor of Ministries

The Family of ChurchesVancouver, WA
20d$100,000 - $150,000

About The Position

The Eastside Executive Pastor of Ministries (XPM) will be responsible for the oversight and performance of all ministries at Eastside, as well as the ministry staff who execute those ministries (6-10 direct reports). Beyond staff and ministry oversight, the XPM will serve as a primary pastoral presence and face of connection at Eastside. As the church experiences rapid growth (300+ people in the last year), the XPM ensures that no one falls through the cracks by building sustainable assimilation structures that move people from first-time guests to engaged members. This includes members, elders, deacons, and those in the leadership pipeline. This role combines strategic ministry leadership with hands-on pastoral care, personally shepherding the congregation toward deeper engagement, meaningful connection, and full membership in the life of the church. Northwest Gospel Church Summary Northwest Gospel Church is currently made up of five local churches in Clark County, Washington (Portland, Oregon metro area). These five churches are interdependent, locally led, and missionally linked. Being interdependent, each church relies on the others in multiple areas of ministry and operations. Being locally led, each church is a representation of the local community where it meets. And being missionally linked, we plan to train church planters, and planting Gospel-centered churches in the Portland metro area and beyond. As a church staff, we see Ephesians 4 as our primary job description, "to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ." As leaders within NGC, we are not primarily "doers" of ministry, but "equippers" of ministry. You should see this play out in every Ministerial and Pastoral role within NGC.
