Summary Pipeline inspection camera manufacturer with a North American distribution channel needs a eastern regional sales manager to work with regional independent sales partners and regional sales managers to increase sales and market share through management, training, motivation and expertise. Candidate needs to have technical and hands on capabilities when demonstrating and training equipment in field applications. Must be able to work synergistically with others in sales management to ensure the sales channel is operating at its best levels of activity and expertise. RSSS will need to develop complete knowledge of several inspection products, field applications and competitive products. Successful candidate will also be able to support field trouble shooting, service and repair of systems and components.

Requirements

  • Candidate needs to have technical and hands on capabilities when demonstrating and training equipment in field applications.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with key account/high value sales opportunities.
  • Develop and execute plans with regional sales to achieve annual unit/revenue sales goals.
  • Assist regional sales in recognizing and projecting future business on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Ability to work productively amongst partner sales reps, management and owners.
  • Establish/maintain solid relationships with sales partners and customers.
  • Plan, organize and execute specific sales and product initiatives.
  • Complete technical understanding of the video inspection product line
  • Ability to communicate key selling features to sales team and customers
  • Successfully operate equipment in the field for varied applications
  • Learn and apply practical field knowledge to the field sales team and product development
  • Test and give feedback on products or features under development
  • Be a leader in marketplace, known as a knowledgeable resource
  • Assist the product group with trainings and development of the sales partner network on all current and new products
  • Ability to give presentations in various size groups and settings.
