About The Position

Cimarron and Amentum are seeking a mid-level Earned Value Scheduler to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at Schriever Space Force Base in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

Requirements

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance in a reasonable timeframe.
  • This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire.   • Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include but is not limited to testing for marijuana use.
  • 3 or more years of experience in project scheduling.
  • Familiarity with scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar.
  • Understanding of scheduling principles, critical path method (CPM), and resource loading.
  • Exposure to Earned Value Management (EVM) concepts.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Business Management, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Earned Value Professional (EVP) certification.
  • Experience in Information Technology.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, baseline, maintain, and update integrated project schedules using Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques, including critical path analysis, resource loading, and cost integration.
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and analysis of project schedules in support of project managers and CAMs.
  • Analyze schedule performance, identify risks and opportunities, and communicate findings to stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports that track and manage the schedule, including visual representations of tasks, dependencies, milestones, and critical path.
  • Perform “what-if” scenario analyses to assess the impact of potential changes on project schedules and budgets.
  • Ensure schedule integrity and compliance with company policies, industry best practices, and applicable government regulations (e.g., ANSI/EIA-748).
  • Provide guidance and training to project team members on scheduling principles, EVM methodologies, and scheduling software.
  • Participate in project reviews and audits to demonstrate schedule accuracy and adherence to EVM principles.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of scheduling processes and procedures.
  • Support the development and implementation of project management best practices within the organization.
