About The Position
Early Learning Summer Camp Group Leader - Alhambra, CA Camp Dates are June 3rd - July 11th. Must be available Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm- No Weekends! Inspire and lead as a Summer Camp Group Leader in a dynamic environment that thrives on innovation, excitement, curiosity, adventure, and a sense of belonging. As a Group Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the summer memories that children will cherish for a lifetime. Location: Alhambra Area Elementary Schools Schedule: June 3rd - July 11th. Must be available Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Work schedule and hours are based on attendance)
Requirements
- Must have 48 college credit hours
- CPR certification
- Able to get finger printed ASAP!
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.
- Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by the state childcare licensing agency.
Responsibilities
- Lead a group of student through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more!
- Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder.
- Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents.
- Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
