Possession and maintenance of a valid First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate Early Learning Aide II: 1. Completion of the twelfth (12th) grade or equivalent. 2. One (1) year of paid experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting or any combination of training experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and abilities may be considered. 3. Possession of a valid First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate. 4. Successful completion of twelve (12) or more Early Childhood Education and/or Child Development units required. 5. Must obtain and maintain Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or above within six (6) months of hire. Valid CPR and First Aid Certifications from an American Heart Association or American Red Cross approved ONLY , in-person course is required upon hire. No online certificates will be accepted.
