About The Position

Early Head Start Infant & Toddler Teacher Floater Needed for WCCA Early Head Start Classroom West Central Community Action is seeking a Teacher for our Harlan Early Head Start classrooms. This position will have a direct focus on children 0 to 3 years of age in Harlan. This position will be required to Float between our Harlan Classrooms and possibly other classrooms as needed. Teachers are responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for each child. This includes lifting, diapering, feeding, washing, and sitting on the floor with all Early Head Start ages. Teachers are responsible for the planning, management, operation and evaluation of the program in their room. Requirements

AA/AS in Early Childhood Education required for position, BA/BS preferred, in Early Childhood, with infant/toddler emphasis.
Valid driver's license and auto liability insurance required
Child Development Accreditation along with HS Diploma or some college courses may be considered in lieu of completion of Associate's or Bachelor's degree(s).
All WCCA Head Start staff members are required to complete background check which includes fingerprinting.
