About The Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Specialist to join our team in Akron, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and development, as well as experience working with young children in a classroom setting. The Early Childhood Specialist will be responsible for creating and implementing age-appropriate curriculum, assessing the developmental needs of each child, and working closely with parents and caregivers to support the growth and development of their children.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
• Previous experience working with young children in a classroom setting
• Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Passion for working with young children and helping them reach their full potential

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging and developmentally appropriate curriculum for young children
• Assess the developmental needs of each child and create individualized learning plans
• Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support the growth and development of their children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Monitor and track the progress of each child and make adjustments to curriculum as needed
• Stay current on best practices in early childhood education and implement new strategies as appropriate
