About The Position
Our team believes every child deserves an educational experience designed to support their individual strengths and needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join a school team for the 2025–2026 academic year. This opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early learning and committed to creating inclusive, nurturing environments for young learners. Position Overview: In this role, you will design and implement individualized instruction for students in an early childhood setting who require specialized academic, emotional, and developmental support. You will develop and manage IEPs, adapt curriculum materials, and utilize developmentally appropriate strategies to promote both learning and social-emotional growth. Creating a structured classroom environment that encourages engagement, independence, and positive behavior will be central to your success. Collaboration plays an important role in this position. You will work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to ensure consistency in instruction and support, helping each student build a strong foundation for long-term success.
Requirements
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Valid Arizona teaching certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and behavior management strategies.
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting children with disabilities in a preschool or early childhood setting is preferred.
