As an Early Childhood Program Specialist 3 for the Children's Center, you will serve as the lead classroom teacher and direct all daily operations in a developmentally appropriate classroom; either toddler age children ages 12 month - 36 months or with preschool age children ages 3-5 years old. Your responsibilities will include: planning, implementing, and evaluating curriculum activities for children; planning and directing routine classroom activities such as meals, bathroom/diapers, naps, and physical care; modeling appropriate nurturing and communication skills with children; directing and maintaining a safe, healthy environment; completing child assessments and conducting parent conferences; leading Early Childhood Specialist 2, student staff, and volunteers in classroom; upholding licensing and accreditation standards; evaluating student staff; and completing required paperwork. This recruitment is to fill multiple Early Childhood Program Specialist 3's within the WSU Children's Center.
