Schools in the Archdiocese of New York contract with the NYC Public Schools to offer PreK For All and 3K For All in over 30 schools in the Bronx, and Staten Island. Our goal is to provide a developmentally appropriate program where children will enjoy a variety of planned experiences anchored in a playful approach to focused learning. We believe that our programs will provide the best foundation for future learning for the young children and families we serve. Programs are located in elementary school buildings as part of the greater school community. We are committed to offering a safe, structured , and personalized learning environment for all of the students entrusted to our care. The Early Childhood Instructional Specialists collaborate with school building and regional leaders, teachers, the team of Early Childhood Social Workers, and the NYC Department of Education's Division of Early Childhood to provide the highest quality of early childhood programming to New York City's youngest learners. The Office of Early Childhood is passionate about supporting leaders and teachers to make a lasting impact on the children and families that we serve. Early Childhood Instructional Specialists are self-starters, problem-solvers, and effective communicators who have a broad and deep knowledge of early childhood learning and development as well as a talent for building strong relationships with families and the community.
