We serve children ages 6 weeks to 6 years of Logan Health employees on a space‑available basis. What You’ll Be Doing As an Assistant Teacher, you’ll play a meaningful role in shaping children’s early experiences and providing a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to complete Montana state‑required early childhood training within 6 months of hire
Completion of STARS Assistant Teacher Training within 12 months of hire
CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain within 30 days (training provided)
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
Positive, dependable, and emotionally intelligent
Attentive to each child’s needs, strengths, and unique background
Creative, flexible, and able to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
A strong communicator who thrives in a collaborative team setting

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain hazard-free play and learning spaces
Support a clean, healthy, and safe classroom
Prepare age‑appropriate activities that inspire curiosity and creativity
Ensure safety, comfort, and emotional well‑being at all times
Guide children through play, routines, and learning experiences
Model and support positive habits around nutrition, physical activity, and safety
Partner with teachers and staff to plan activities and support classrooms
Mentor new team members and contribute to a positive work environment
Assist with documentation, attendance, and daily activity reports
Value and respect each child’s background, culture, and abilities
