About The Position
This posting is a general posting that will serve for many part-time, non-benefited, openings in different divisions across campus. Position Summary These positions support programs designed to support non-collegiate educational programs for which teachers are needed including Fisher Early Learning Center and the Ricks Center for Gifted Children. Positions can include: Teaching assistants Substitute teachers Early Childhood teachers Pre K - 8 teachers These are non-benefited, part-time positions not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills to include verbal and written communication.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain all required certifications and licensures as they pertain to the role.
- Skills associated with early childhood learning, K-12 certified professionals and some post-secondary education.
- Professional training or education related to area of teaching specificity.
- Experience teaching at level of specificity.
- Please note that the required qualifications will vary for each position type.
