Summer Internship Program – Operations Overview Ready to make your mark in the world of investments? Spend an unforgettable summer at Invesco alongside a select group of driven students. Our 10-week Summer Internship Program kicks off in June 2026 and offers you the chance to dive into the fast-paced world of investments, learn from industry pros, and build connections that will last a lifetime. In this internship, you’ll get hands-on experience, one-on-one mentorship, and the inside scoop on what it’s really like to work at a global investment firm. As part of a Summer Internship Program cohort, you will have a variety of initiatives to keep you engaged throughout the summer including orientation, networking events, development workshops, and volunteer activities. You’ll work side-by-side with talented teams to learn about the business. Here’s the best part: crush your internship, and you could be eligible for a full-time offer to join our Early Career Program after graduation!

  • Learn the Invesco business model and growth strategy (product, investment, sales, operations and corporate services)
  • Develop professional skills and networking across the organization as well as the industry
  • Immerse yourself in a modern business environment to help you better visualize your transition from college to a professional career
  • Participate in cultural, operations, and management training
  • Support cross-functional operational initiatives by assisting with data analysis, reporting, and documentation across teams such as Service Delivery, Global Operations, and Funds Governance.
  • Build one or more of the following core capabilities (analytical thinking, attention to detail, communication, team building, adaptability, problem solving, technical proficiency, and project support)
  • Participate in meetings with Early Careers operations team and contribute to the influence of positive change and ideas
  • Develop your technical aptitude, business insight, and collaborative abilities through a variety of project experiences.
  • Gain exposure to industry best practices, compliance standards, and ethical business conduct.
  • Opportunity to participate in community outreach or corporate social responsibility initiatives
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2027
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • All majors are welcome with an emphasis on Business, Finance, and Information Systems
  • Strong leadership, initiative, and interpersonal skills; ambitious and creative demeanor
  • Strong analytical/quantitative and technical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to ambiguous situations and learn quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work well with others across teams with varied strengths and backgrounds
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Must be able to work in one of Invesco’s offices where the program is available
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.

  • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.
