The Secure Embedded Systems department (5327) is seeking a motivated firmware or embedded hardware engineer to support large multi-disciplinary programs critical to national security. The successful candidate will support the design, development, test, and deployment of novel FPGA and embedded solutions. The successful candidate will have a background and understanding of FPGAs, firmware, state-of-the-art computing (SoCs), and a readiness to apply this understanding to a variety of embedded systems. You will work alongside world-class authorities and emerging leaders and use your skills in the following ways: Embedded software FPGA Firmware Verification & validation Real-time data processing Object-oriented software frameworks and architecture development Networked and distributed architectures Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
