Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Early Career Design Engineer (Electrical). In this role, you will create electrical designs for cable harness drawing, wire diagrams and support lab build, install and test operations. The successful candidate should have knowledge / experience with standard electrical calculations like, Ohms law, wire diameter sizing, voltage drop and others.

Requirements

  • B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering, or Equivalent
  • A working knowledge of basic electronic measurement equipment, Digital Voltage Meter (DVMs), Oscilloscopes, standard hand tools, etc.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position will require a government security clearance.
  • This position is located at a Owego facility and might require some special Lab access.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with standard drafting practices and tools related to American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Y14.5 and Y14.1
  • Familiarity with Zuken E3 and/or AutoCAD and/or LabView and/or Windchill tools.
  • Experience with analyzing interface control documents and/or product electrical specification sheets.
  • Understanding to read one line interconnect diagrams, lower-level point to point schematic diagrams and associated cable harness drawings
  • Familiarity with Agile product development using Scrum and/or Kanban frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
