Overview The E-Scrap Associate is responsible for supporting PADNOS’ electronics recycling operations through the inspection, grading, and purchasing of non-ferrous and electronic materials. This role ensures accurate transaction processing, proper inventory control, and timely preparation of materials to meet customer and sales requirements, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental compliance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in recycling, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environments preferred
  • Ability to accurately inspect and grade electronic and non-ferrous materials
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to input and track transactions in internal systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in inventory and purchasing processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment
  • Commitment to safety and ability to follow company policies, procedures, and environmental regulations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials in an industrial setting

Responsibilities

  • Process and recycle electronic materials in accordance with company standards, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines
  • Dismantle and prepare electronic devices and components for proper recycling and downstream recovery
  • Sort and grade electronic materials to ensure quality, accuracy, and maximum commodity value
  • Support electronics recycling line operations to meet daily production and sustainability goals
  • Identify, handle, and prepare regulated materials (including batteries and related components) for proper packaging and shipment
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including material movement and dock support
  • Support scale operations and internal material tracking processes
  • Cross-train in multiple operational areas to support team productivity and business needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
