About The Position

Veo is a leading shared micromobility provider in North America, dedicated to ending car dependency by making clean transportation accessible. The company designs and manufactures its vehicles, hardware, and software systems in-house and operates local markets directly to ensure safe and reliable service. Veo is seeking operations professionals who are passionate about providing an excellent rider experience by maintaining vehicles and continually improving fleet operations efficiency. E-Scooter Delivery Drivers are responsible for locating, swapping batteries, rebalancing vehicles throughout the city, and performing quality checks and minor repairs. The ideal candidate is a team player who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands, and being active throughout their shift.

Requirements

• 21+ years old
• Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
• Have a smartphone and be App-savvy
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs scooters without assistance
• Good communication and attention to detail
• reliable transportation to or live near the warehouse located on E. Main Street, Carbondale, IL

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of the local geography and street layout
• Flexible schedule including early morning, night, and weekend shifts
• Related experience in warehouse, manufacturing, delivery, etc.

Responsibilities

• Follow the mobile App instruction to complete shift tasks
• Drive a company’s van to find scooters and swap battery
• Rebalance scooters from low demand to high demand areas
• Perform basic repair and quality check
• Respond to on-demand requests to locate/retrieve scooters
• Other duties as assigned
